The size of our root growth starter plugs is carefully considered to provide optimal growth conditions for your plants. Before water absorption, the plugs measure approximately 1.2 x 1.2 inches on the top, 0.8 x 0.8 inch at the bottom, and 1.6 inches in height. After water absorption, the top of the plugs expands to around 1.9 x 1.9 inches, the bottom to 0.9 x 0.9 inch, and the height to 1.8 inches. This increased size allows your plant roots to have more room to thrive.
